There is no set figure for the number of lessons it takes before you're ready for your driving test.

As a guide, the Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency suggests that the average person will need 44 hours of lessons and 22 hours of private practice before they are ready to pass their test.

With good tuition, this can be reduced and the J W Driving average is 35 to 40 hours of driving lessons.
